روشن مستقبل ویلفیئر سوسائٹی کی مسلسل جدوجہد سے کوٹ لکھنانہ میں پوسٹ آفس برانچ قائم کر دی گئی ہے۔ اس سے پہلے علاقے کی ڈاک باغ پوسٹ آفس سے آتی تھی جو تقریباً 10 کلومیٹر دور تھا۔ کوٹ لکھنانہ میں ڈاک ہفتے میں صرف دو دن (منگل اور ہفتہ) پہنچتی تھی جس کی وجہ سے طلبہ امتحانی معلومات، نوکری کے انٹرویو لیٹر، سرکاری خطوط اور بلوں کی آخری تاریخیں اکثر ضائع ہو جاتی تھیں۔
