Police Station Mochiwala covers a vast geographic area with numerous villages and distant localities. Citizens were required to travel nearly 30 kilometers to file complaints, report incidents, or seek legal assistance.
This long journey created multiple difficulties. Poor families struggled with travel costs and loss of daily wages. Elderly individuals found the distance physically exhausting. Women, particularly in urgent situations, faced mobility and safety challenges. As a result, many people delayed reporting issues, which often led to further complications.
Initiative and Advocacy by the Welfare Society
Recognizing these challenges, R. M. Welfare Society actively raised the issue with relevant authorities. Through consistent advocacy, coordination, and community representation, the organization worked to bring essential law enforcement services closer to the people.
The goal was clear: ensure timely access to justice, reduce hardship for citizens, and create a safer environment for all. After sustained efforts and cooperation with authorities, the police sub-station was successfully established and made operational at Lakhnana Canal Rest House.

The establishment of the police chowki has significantly reduced the distance residents must travel for police assistance. Instead of covering nearly 30 kilometers, citizens now travel only about 3 to 4 kilometers. This change has transformed accessibility to law enforcement services.

روشَن مستقبل ویلفیئر سوسائٹی نے عوامی سہولت اور تحفظ کے لیے ایک اہم قدم اٹھاتے ہوئے پولیس اسٹیشن موچی والا کی پولیس چوکی لکھنانہ کینال ریسٹ ہاؤس (بنگلہ نول والا) میں قائم کروا دی ہے۔
ماضی میں کوٹ لکھنانہ اور اردگرد کے علاقوں کے لوگوں کو پولیس تک رسائی کے لیے تقریباً 30 کلومیٹر سفر کرنا پڑتا تھا۔ اس طویل فاصلے کی وجہ سے غریب افراد، بزرگ شہریوں اور خواتین کو شدید مشکلات کا سامنا رہتا تھا، اور کئی معاملات بروقت رپورٹ نہیں ہو پاتے تھے۔
سوسائٹی نے عوامی مسائل کو متعلقہ حکام تک پہنچایا اور مسلسل کوششوں کے بعد یہ پولیس چوکی قائم کر دی گئی۔ اب مقامی افراد کو پولیس خدمات کے لیے صرف 3 سے 4 کلومیٹر سفر کرنا پڑتا ہے۔
اس اقدام سے عوام کو فوری مدد، بہتر تحفظ اور انصاف تک آسان رسائی حاصل ہوئی ہے۔ یہ چوکی جرائم کی روک تھام، کمیونٹی کے اعتماد میں اضافہ اور شہری و پولیس تعلقات کو مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گی۔
