Plantation Drive for a Greener Future – Our Contribution to Green Punjab
Environmental protection has become one of the most important responsibilities of every community. Rising temperatures, deforestation, and pollution are affecting both human health and agriculture. To address these challenges and promote a healthier environment, Roshan Mustaqbil Welfare Society actively participates in plantation activities every year and encourages the community to play its role in protecting nature.
In line with the vision of the Government of Punjab, our welfare society proudly supports the province-wide Green Punjab Movement initiated by the Chief Minister of Punjab. Under this movement, millions of trees are being planted across the province to combat climate change and improve environmental sustainability. Our society contributes to this mission by planting hundreds of trees and plants every year in different public and community locations.
Apart from participating in government initiatives, the society independently organizes plantation campaigns throughout the year. Volunteers, teachers, students, and local residents join hands with the society to plant trees and raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. These plantation drives not only increase greenery but also educate younger generations about the importance of protecting natural resources.
One of the main areas where our society frequently conducts plantation drives is Government Model High School Chak 455. Several plantation campaigns have been organized in this school where students actively participate in planting saplings within the school grounds. Such activities help create environmental awareness among students and encourage them to take responsibility for protecting nature.
Similarly, plantation drives have also been carried out many times at Government Girls High School Chak 458. By involving female students in environmental initiatives, the society aims to empower young girls with knowledge about climate responsibility and community service.
Healthcare facilities are also included in our plantation efforts. Our volunteers have planted trees around Basic Health Unit Kot Lakhnana to provide shade and create a more pleasant environment for patients and visitors. Green surroundings around health centers contribute to better air quality and a healthier atmosphere.
The society has also conducted plantation activities in several community locations including the graveyard of Chak 457, Sports Complex Chak 456, and Sports Complex Chak 460 Jatyana. These areas are important public spaces where greenery improves the environment and provides comfort to visitors.
In addition to these places, plantation campaigns have been carried out in many schools, hospitals, and public service facilities. Trees have also been planted near police check posts of the Punjab Highway Patrol to improve roadside greenery and environmental protection. Furthermore, plantation drives were organized near Sub Station Mochiwala, Lakhnana Canal Rest House Bangla Nol Wala, and other nearby public areas.
These efforts demonstrate the society’s continuous commitment to environmental protection. Every tree planted today contributes to a cleaner atmosphere, improved biodiversity, and a better future for coming generations. Plantation not only beautifies the surroundings but also helps reduce heat, prevent soil erosion, and improve air quality.
Through these plantation drives, the welfare society hopes to inspire more individuals and organizations to take part in environmental conservation. Protecting the environment is a collective responsibility, and even small efforts can make a big difference when communities work together.
The mission of our welfare society is not limited to welfare activities such as education, healthcare, and social support. Environmental protection is also a key pillar of our work because a healthy environment is essential for a healthy and prosperous society. By continuing these plantation initiatives every year, we aim to leave a greener and more sustainable world for future generations.
روشن مستقبل ویلفیئر سوسائٹی ہر سال شجرکاری مہم میں بھرپور حصہ لیتی ہے اور وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کے گرین پنجاب اقدام کی حمایت کرتی ہے۔ سوسائٹی مختلف سرکاری اور عوامی مقامات جیسے گورنمنٹ ماڈل ہائی سکول چک 455، گورنمنٹ گرلز ہائی سکول چک 458، بی ایچ یو کوٹ لکھنانہ، چک 457 کے قبرستان، اسپورٹس کمپلیکس چک 456 اور چک 460 جٹیانہ سمیت کئی اسکولوں، ہسپتالوں اور دیگر عوامی مقامات پر سینکڑوں پودے لگاتی ہے۔ اس مہم کا مقصد ماحول کو سرسبز بنانا، ماحولیاتی آلودگی کو کم کرنا اور آنے والی نسلوں کے لئے بہتر ماحول فراہم کرنا ہے۔
